which one of my poems do you think is the best?? they are short poems and i love each one of them and though they are short, they each took me about an hour to write, so a lot went into them from my experience and own feelings.
1. Beauty
beauty
is something to be smiled upon,
but not envied
2. Puzzle
Like a puzzle,
our souls fit
exactly together
it's the kind of
flawless
to envy
3. In a Field of Blue Poppies
in a field of blue poppies,
i sat with my lover
with my head on his shoulders
and his song in my mind,
the world became more beautiful, exquisite,
divine
4. Dazzling
As individuals, we are mistakes
But as a whole, we are dazzling
We exemplify life
and please critique any of them b/c i really want to improve my poetry
I like poem number 3. It shows a sense of belonging, with your lover the world became more beautiful, exquisite, divine.
As for poem 1. it sounds more of a quote.
Poems 2 and 4 can fit together because both serve as an addition to each other.
