Okay, this is a a rather odd question, but. . .
My cousin and I were messing around with a fire extinguisher and I got sprayed in the face. Immediately afterwards, my face felt like it was burning, and my skin turned red. I do have sensitive skin so this didn't surprise me, and I only half-heartedly worked to get the powder off my face, being pretty sure that it was only baking soda.
Unfortunately, my face is still chapped and rough.
Is there anything in a fire extinguisher that would cause lasting skin damage?
