I have a 7 yr old sister and she wants me to make a den to sleep in tonight. She wants me to sleep in it with her I dont really want to but I am going to. How could I make one I have 2 quilts 2 small blankets 2 large cushions 12 square and rectangular cushions and two tall chairs and 2 short chairs. Lol I know terible english no commas or anything lol. Please just give me instructions of how to build one. Thx K4T3
Okay, its best to build against a wall. What I suggest is put the two tall chairs against the wall facing away from each other. The distance apart should be adequate enough to spread the quilt on top and of course to fit yourself into it. Then put the smaller chairs next to the bigger ones again facing away from the other. So its the big chairs at the back, small ones at the front. Next spread one quilt on top of the other quilt on the chairs and place heavy books on the seat of the chairs on top of the quilts as the drape down on the other side. This is to hold the quilt in place. Place the large cushions inside and arrange the smaller ones all around. With the smaller blankets make a sort of an entrance flap. Put both blankets next to each other in front, on top of the quilts. Slip the blankets in between the quilts to hold them in place. Now you have a sort of a curtain like opening in front. I hope this works out for you and you are able to understand my instructions.
