is this a healthy way to lose weight?

i went to the doctors a week ago. the first thing she said was basically that im fat and that was the main reason i wasn't having a regular period. well i started eating a fruit salad for breakfast drinking water running on a running Machine for 30 minutes a day and taking some pills; green tea fat burner, total body purifier, fish oil,and colon clear which are all natural pills. and i just wanna know if this unhealthy way to lose weight.if so please give me some tips. im 200 pds and 5'5" i have a history of diabetes and high blood pressure and i just wanna be healthy.
the fruit salad consist of 2 cups watermelon, a banana a cup of strawberries, a orange and 2 kiwi also i eat that for breakfast and i eat dinner which is most of the time is unhealthy and sometimes a pop-tart in between if i get real hungry.

natural or not, pills are not the way to lose weight, im not a doctor but i would advise against that. the fruit salad is good but the pop tart is not.

to lose weight stick to the main principles first, 2-3 litres of water per day, fruit and LOTS of green veg.

NO starchy carbs, rice pasta potatoes etc
NO carbs after 6pm
NO sweets, cakes, pastries,

exercise 30mins a day is good, but as well as that you need an active "lifestyle" so leave the car at home and walk sometimes, find something to do, take up new hobbies, sports, dancing etc. there's a lot more but take things one step at a time
